The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr

What is The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr?

The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr is the Elsweyr Chapter content for the online role-playing game The Elder Scrolls Online. Taking players to the homeland of the Khajiit, this chapter offers a new region, story quests, dragon encounters, the Necromancer class, and group content.

As you explore Elsweyr’s savannas, canyons, and settlements, you can battle the dragons threatening the region and Euraxia’s forces. Although the main story is suitable for solo progression, world events and challenging group battles encourage playing with other players.

What content does the Elsweyr Chapter offer?

At the heart of this chapter is a new story centered on defending the Khajiit lands. You can complete regional quests, participate in open-world Dragon Hunt events, and visit points of interest unique to Elsweyr. As you progress, you will have opportunities to earn equipment, collectibles, and various quest rewards.

• Elsweyr region: Discover Khajiit culture, deserts, savannas, and the conflicts around Rimmen.
• Necromancer class: Use abilities that summon the dead, take advantage of corpse mechanics, and can be adapted to damage, tank, or support roles.
• Dragon battles: Join forces with other players in the open world to fight powerful dragons.
• Sunspire Trial: Test your team composition and character build in a 12-player PvE challenge played with an organized group.
• New story quests: Try to protect the Khajiit homeland from invading forces and ancient threats.

How is the Necromancer class played?

The Necromancer is a tactical class that uses corpses on the battlefield to empower its abilities. Its three distinct skill lines focus on dealing damage, providing defense, and healing teammates, allowing players to create character builds suited to PvE quests, group content, or PvP encounters.

Because some of the class’s spells may be considered crimes in Tamriel, you must take the in-game justice system into account when using abilities in populated areas. This detail adds not only a visual theme to Necromancer gameplay but also a distinctive role-playing element connected to the world.
