Dying Light: The Beast Deluxe Edition

What is Dying Light: The Beast Deluxe Edition?

Dying Light: The Beast Deluxe Edition is a digital PC bundle featuring Techland’s open-world zombie-themed action-adventure RPG, including the base game and Deluxe content. In this Steam-activated edition, you return to the wilderness of Castor Woods as Kyle Crane. As you manage the conflict between human and beast DNA, you follow a story focused on survival, exploration, and revenge.

The gameplay is built around first-person melee combat, parkour, resource gathering, weapon use, and a day-night cycle. Daytime is more suitable for exploration and preparation, while the more dangerous infected that emerge at night make route selection and equipment management more important. You can use parkour across rooftops, overcome obstacles, and travel through the open world in an off-road vehicle.

What content does the Deluxe Edition include?

This edition brings together the base game and in-game and digital content that complement the Castor Woods experience in a single package. The Deluxe Edition content listed on Steam includes:

• Dying Light: The Beast base game: Includes Kyle Crane’s story, the open world of Castor Woods, and single-player or online co-op gameplay.
• Castor Woods Prepper Bundle: A special in-game equipment bundle suited to the survival theme. The content can be accessed through the stash unlocked during the second quest, “Safe Haven.”
• Castor Woods Tourist Map: A detailed digital tourist map highlighting noteworthy locations with annotations.
• Official Soundtrack: The official music album capturing the game’s atmosphere.
• Wallpaper Pack: Includes digital wallpapers themed around Dying Light: The Beast.

To access the digital bonuses, you may need to create a Dying Light Outpost account and link your Steam account to the service. Check the package contents and access instructions on the product page and through the official services before purchasing.

Gameplay and progression in Castor Woods

In the game, you switch between human agility and Kyle’s evolving beast powers. Parkour, melee combat, and Beast Mode provide different approaches to encounters. Gathering materials, preparing equipment, using safe zones, and planning a return route before sunset become especially important during challenging encounters.

Castor Woods features diverse areas such as a tourist town, industrial zone, national park, farmland, and swamps. Missions, infected threats, and points of interest across the map add variety to your progression. The adventure can be played solo or completed in online co-op with up to four players. Thanks to the shared progression system, team members can advance through the story, explore, and gather resources together.
