Risk of Rain 2 - Global (English)

What is Risk of Rain 2, Steam?

Risk of Rain 2 is a third-person roguelike action game built around procedurally generated runs. Players battle increasingly powerful creatures on the planet Petrichor V, collect loot, and progress by completing teleporter events at the end of each stage. This product is for the base game played on PC through Steam and is listed as the version available in English.

Create a different character build in every run

At the heart of the game is the balance between the difficulty that increases over time and item combinations that strengthen your character. By opening chests, you can collect items that enhance attributes such as attack speed, mobility, healing, critical hits, or area damage. Multiple copies of the same item can increase its effect, while different items can form powerful, complementary builds.

Each unlockable Survivor, including Commando, Huntress, Engineer, and MUL-T, has different abilities and a distinct gameplay rhythm. By completing challenges, you can gain access to new Survivors, alternate skills, items, and Artifact modifiers. Randomized stages, enemies, and loot make every run an opportunity to try a new route and build.

Survive alone or with your friends

Risk of Rain 2 can be played solo and also supports online co-op for up to four players. In team play, sharing loot, combining character abilities, and deciding when to activate the teleporter become important. Players looking for a more competitive objective can try to improve their times in Prismatic Trials, which feature specific conditions.

What awaits you in the game?

• Roguelike runs: Changing stage, enemy, boss, and item layouts.
• Survivor variety: Different combat styles and alternate abilities.
• Item combinations: Builds focused on damage, defense, movement, and healing.
• Online co-op: Four-player team play with up to three friends.
• Artifact system: Unlockable game modifiers that change the rules of each run.
