REMATCH

What is REMATCH on Steam?

REMATCH is an online multiplayer football game that combines classic football rules with fast-paced, team-focused action. Instead of managing the entire team on the pitch, you take control of a single player. The over-the-shoulder third-person camera allows you to dribble, pass, shoot, tackle, and make goalkeeper saves directly. This product is intended for players seeking access to the game through a Steam account on PC.

What kind of gameplay awaits you on the pitch?

In matches, taking the right position, creating space, and reading your teammates' movements are just as important as individual mechanics. REMATCH delivers an arcade-inspired football experience that keeps the ball in play without fouls, offsides, or lengthy stoppages. In addition to competitive 5v5 matches, there are also quick-play options for 3v3 and 4v4 games. Since each player controls a single footballer, passing plays and shared defensive responsibilities become central to every match.

Skill, tactics, and team coordination

Rather than offering an artificial advantage based on player statistics, the game emphasizes timing, accuracy, quick reactions, and coordination. In attack, you need to make off-the-ball runs, find the right shooting angle, and create assists. In defense, closing down space, timing tackles, and spotting threats approaching the goal early become essential. This structure appeals both to groups of friends who want to form a regular team and to players aiming to improve their individual game knowledge in competitive matchmaking.

Game modes and progression

In online modes, you can join quick matches, test your team's performance in competitive games, and follow seasonal content. Training and free-play options are suitable for practicing basic movements, pass power, shot direction, and defensive timing. Since game modes and cosmetic content may change with each season, check the current options in-game.

• Single-player control: You control one footballer on the pitch and rely on your teammates in every position.
• Fast-paced matches: Play fluid games without fouls, offsides, or lengthy interruptions.
• Competitive experience: Combine technical skill with proper positioning and team coordination.
• Cosmetic customization: Personalize your footballer's style with visual content that provides no gameplay advantage.

Steam and PC compatibility

REMATCH requires a broadband internet connection for online matches and uses Easy Anti-Cheat. The PC version requires Windows 10 or Windows 11, DirectX 12, and an SSD; the official minimum requirements specify 8 GB of RAM and 20 GB of available storage space. As hardware requirements may be updated, compare the latest system information on the Steam page with your computer before purchasing.
