Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

What Is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a story-driven first-person action-adventure game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. This PC version is used on the Steam platform. Players take on the role of Indiana Jones and embark on a cinematic journey across multiple countries to unravel the mystery behind an ancient power.

Set in 1937, the story takes place between the events of the films Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. The adventure stretches from Marshall College to the Vatican and from the pyramids of Egypt to the temples of Sukhothai, combining exploration, stealth, melee combat, and environmental puzzles.

What Kind of Adventure Awaits You in the Game?

Most of the gameplay unfolds from a first-person perspective. This allows you to experience events directly through Indy's eyes as you examine clues, search for secret passages, and confront enemies. A third-person camera may also be used during cinematic sequences and certain environmental interactions.

• Exploration: While following story missions, you can explore open areas and discover hidden secrets and valuable artifacts.
• Puzzles: You can progress by solving ancient mechanisms, environmental clues, and logic-based obstacles.
• Stealth: You can distract enemies, use alternative routes, and try to reach your objective without entering combat.
• Combat: You can adapt to different situations using fistfights, objects found in the environment, and firearms when necessary.

How Is Indiana Jones's Whip Used?

The iconic whip is more than just a weapon. It can be used to incapacitate or distract enemies, as well as to swing across gaps, reach elevated locations, and open paths through the environment. This versatile functionality creates a natural connection between action and exploration sections.
